Last updated : 17 September 2008 By Andyboy
Alexander Cowie; Goalkeeper (Age: 21)
Young goalkeeper who after playing second fiddle for three seasons finally became Queen's first team goalkeeper at the tail end of last season. Despite being small in stature, Cowie is a tremendous shot stopper who impressed in pre-season.

David Crawford; Goalkeeper (Age: 22)
After a disappointing one year stint at Dumbarton, "DC Dogg" returned to Hampden in the summer desperate to regain the Queen's Park number one jersey. A promotion hero in season 2006/07 and a penalty specialist, who will provide competition to new first team keeper Alexander Cowie.

Martin Ure; Defender (Age: 20)
Ex-Rangers youth prospect who signed for Queen's last summer following an impressive spell at Cumnock Juniors. The versatile player provided good backup to Paul Paton at right full back last season and will be looking to make that position his own this season with Paton's departure to Partick Thistle.

Stephen Reilly; Defender (Age: 27)
Experienced defender who began his Queen's career as a midfielder in season 2003/04 has struggled with injuries in the past three seasons and hasn't had a regular run in the team because of it. The ex Stirling man is a penalty specialist and will be looking to re-establish himself in the team this season.

Richard Sinclair; Defender (Age: 26)
Club captain into his 9th season at Hampden Park and the only member of the 1999/00 Championship squad who remains. Inspirational centre half who is a key man in any Queen's side. Has struggled with injuries in the past few seasons but after an impressive pre-season will be looking to make an impact.

Damiano Agostini; Defender (Age: 30)
Fans favourite and the oldest member of the Queen's Park playing squad, at the tender age of 30. "Big D" has been a key man in the Spiders defence over the last few seasons and is always a player who gives 100% to the cause. Has yet to score his first goal for Queen's Park, despite having made almost 200 appearances in the black & white hoops.

Shaun Molloy; Defender (Age: 23)
Pacy wing back into his fifth season at Queen's. Was part of a mean defence with Gavin Rushford in season 2004/05 but since has struggled to find a place in the team, due to injuries, and the fantastic Mick Dunlop. Now that Big Mick has made his way to Dumbarton, Shaun will be looking to make the left back slot his own.

Andy Boslem; Defender (Age: 18)
Young defender who was a key man in the Victoria XI side that marched to the 2008 Scottish Amateur Cup final. Despite being only 18, he captained that side last season and will be looking to add to his small tally of first team appearances this campaign.

Jamie Brough; Defender (Age: 19)
Big defender who despite his tender years has already captained Queen's, in the 2008 Pre-season trip to Germany. He broke into the first team at the end of last season with a number of composed performances, and will be hoping to make the centre half berth his own this season. A big threat at set pieces.

Barry Douglas; Defender (Age: 18)
Young full back who impressed in the Victoria XI's run to last season's Amateur Cup Final. A natrually left sided player with a great cross and a keen eye for goal, he will push Shaun Molloy for a regular place in the starting XI this season.

Ricky Little; Defender (Age: 19)
Defender signed on a one month loan deal from Partick Thistle in September 2007. Equally adept at either right full back or centre half, Little has previously made a handful of senior appearances for Thistle.

Tony Quinn; Midfielder (Age: 25)
Fans favourite who signed for Queen's from Kirkintilloch back in 2001 can play at defence or as an attacker, but favours a spot in centre midfield. Hard in the tackle and good in the air, Tony is a commited member of the squad and will be key next season, wherever the Boss decides to play him.

Paul Cairney; Midfielder (Age: 20)
Dynamic young midfielder who signed for Partick Thistle in the summer but has been loaned back to Hampden until January. The youngster was a key cog in the side that gained promotion, and the side that kept their place in Division Two, and has the ability to go all the way in the game.

John Neill; Midfielder (Age: 20)
Athletic ex-Hearts youngster who signed for Queen's last season after an 8 month hiatus from the game. Neill is a clever midfielder who is a good passer of the ball, and he will be a key cog in the Queen's midfield this season.

Ross Dunlop; Midfielder (Age: 19)
Brother of former fans favourite Mick, and a hot prospect for the future. An adept attacking midfielder who will pose a goal threat, as a prolific pre-season campaign proved. Likes to support the striker with late runs, and could be key in our search for goals.

Jack Henry; Midfielder (Age: 19)
A skilful player happy at both right midfield and right full back who is likely to become a key man this season. Was a star performer in last season's Victoria XI team with his nippiness up the right wing.

Ryan Holms; Midfielder (Age: 20)
Skilful winger who signed from Knightswood Juveniles in the summer. Was a standout player on the pre-season trip to Germany and poses a goal threat.

Paul Harkins; Midfielder (Age: 21)
Combative midfielder signed from Neilston Juniors in the summer. Was Neilston's player of the year for season 2007/08 and was another new boy who impressed in pre-season.

Alan Harty; Midfielder (Age: 19)
Tall defensive midfielder who was expected to make an impact last season, but was kept out by the form of Paul Cairney and Stuart Kettlewell. A top player in the reserves who will no doubt be looking to add to his solitary first team appearance.

David Waters; Midfielder (Age: 19)
Dimuntive wing player expected to make the breakthrough this season. Waters is the brother of ex Queen's Parker Louis, but he will be looking to make a bigger impact than his brother did.

Anthony McGrogan; Midfielder (Age: 27)
Right sided midfielder signed from St Patricks Ams. in the summer after impressing against Queen's in the Scottish Amateur Cup last season. Another who showed promise in Germany and who will be expected to make an impact this season.

Robert Dunn; Forward (Age: 28)
Experienced forward who has yet to establish himself at Hampden despite now being into his third season. Injuries and poor form have kept him out of the side, but his experience at Partick Thistle, St. Mirren and Stirling among others will be helpful this season.

Stuart McGrady; Forward (Age: 23)
Pacy forward signed from Cumnock Juniors last summer will be looking to build on a disappointing first season in the hoops. Possesses great pace and always gives his best to the cause but has yet to find his best position in the team.

Adam Coakley; Forward (Age: 20)
Ex-Scotland and Motherwell youth player will be looking to get his stuttering career back on track at Hampden, following his release from Alloa Athletic. A skilful player who proved he has an eye for goal in the Motherwell reserve side.

David Murray; Forward (Age: 19)
Youngster released by St Mirren in the summer and he has since been signed up by Queen's Park. Another man who impressed in Germany, scoring twice in the 6-1 rout of Gunnigfeld. Will add to competition for places up front next season.

Paul Ronald; Forward (Age: 37)
Extremely experienced forward into his third season at Queen's Park. Signed from Dumbarton in the summer of 2006, the 6ft plus striker's experience could prove vital to Queen's chances of retaining their Division Two status.
