Longworth at the double

Jamie Longworth scored twice to help Queen's Park earn a 3-2 victory at Stranraer.

The home side came into the game having lost three on the bounce and went behind after 10 minutes when Longworth applied the finish to Richard Little's assist.

Martin Grehan's 64th-minute strike levelled the scores before Longworth headed Daryll Meggatt's cross into the bottom corner to regain the visitors' lead just a minute later.

Two minutes later Owen Ronald set up Anthony Quinn to double the Spiders' lead.

Keith Knox's men were given a route back into the game in the 73rd minute when Paul McGinn brought down Michael Moore inside the area.

Christopher Aitken tucked away the penalty kick, but the hosts were unable to find a late equaliser.

Grehan came closest with an effort from distance which flashed wide.
