SFL 3rd Division - East Fife 1 - 0 Queen's Park

Spiders started strongly and Robert Dunn came close twice, missing with a close range fresh air swipe then a looping header from 15 yards came back off Fife keeper John Dodds' crossbar. Dunn forced a decent save off Dodds before Queen's chances took a major blow.

Paul Ronald slapped Fifers full back Kevin McBride in the face and referee Stevie O'Reilly had no choice but to send the veteran off for violent conduct. Fife were now in the ascendancy and O'Reilly was twice denied by smart stops by David Crawford.

Queen's created few chances in the second period, Dunn sending a free kick from 20 yards narrowly wide and Richard Sinclair heading over from 10 yards. Fife won the game late on when Sinclair and Jablonski both got their heads to a Blackadder corner and the ball rolled past David Crawford to give EF the win. Subs Weatherston and Carroll both had late chances to level for Queen's but couldn't convert.
