Queen's got their first three point haul since the 4-0 win over Albion Rovers today at home to East Stirling.

The Shire made the trip without FIVE first team players while Queen's welcomed back long term injury Steven Reilly.

Reilly entered the squad replacing Gavin Rushford , also Mark Ferry replaced Alan Trouten and young Richard Bowers made his debut replacing the suspended Stuart Kettlewell.

So Queen's went with a 5-3-2 formation which worked.

The Spiders were creating chances from the start. Ross Clark , Frankie Carroll and Mark Ferry all came close in the first 20 minutes and on 21 mins the opener came.

Ferry took the ball past a slipping David Harvey and played through Big Tony Quinn who rifled the ball past a despairing Derek Jackson.

Queen's continued to create chances , Ross Clark , Mark Ferry & Young Richard Bowers all squandered good chances before half time.

Queen's came back out in the second half and extended the lead. Paul Harvey played a short corner to Mark Ferrt , he played the ball back and his swerving shot was blocked on the line and Richard Bowers rifled the ball high into the net.

Queen's again made chances. Frankie Carroll , Richard Bowers , Mark Ferry , Ross Clark , Paul Harvey & Sub Ally Graham all squandered goalscoring oppurtunites.
