Queen's Park 1 - 0 Alloa Athletic

Last updated : 05 December 2007 By Andyboy
The first half produced little in the way of goalmouth action and both sides had a few half chances which they failed to convert. The first real opportunity came on 30 minutes. Stuart McGrady was felled by Athletic keeper Ray Jellema and Trouten could only see his spot kick saved by the Wasps keeper.

The second period was dominated by Alloa and striker Graeme Brown missed two golden chances to open the scoring. Scott Buist forced a wonder save from Scott Murray before Queen's won it in injury time.

Mark Ferry's 20 yarder was parried back outwards by Jellema and in slid Alan Trouten to knock the ball home from three yards and spark bedlam in the stands.
