Queen's Park 0 - 1 Cowdenbeath

Last updated : 13 October 2007 By Andyboy
Clarke hopped over Damiano Agostini's outstretched leg after 54 minutes before slamming the penalty kick past Cairns moments later. Queen's dominated the remainder of the encounter and Stuart McGrady had his header brilliantly saved by David Hay in the Blue Brasil goal.

McGrady's left foot volley moments after seemed to be blocked by the hand of Mark Baxter before Hay once again denied a McGrady header. Tony Quinn missed a close range header when it looked easier to score near the end, but the worst miss of all came in the first half of the game, when Mark Ferry somehow contrived to head wide when faced with an empty net from six yards.
