Queen's travelled to Gretna and were outclassed by Rowan Alexanders Millionares. Queen's mad one change from the side which both beat Albion Rovers 4 - 0 and drew 0 - 0 with Stenhousemuir. Gavin Rushford dropped to the bench and Ross Clark stepped in.

Gretna started brightly and won a corner after eleven seconds. Luckily Gavin Skelton's ball was powerfully headed away by Ricky Sinclair.

Queen's made ventures up the park but David Irons seemed to have Frankie Carroll in his back pocket. On the one occasion where Frankie beat the veteran the linesmans flag disputedly went up.

Gretna took the lead after 14 minutes. A long ball from David Bingham floated over and Skelton tapped it into the top corner.

Gretna dominated for a while and got a second soon after. Skelton's cross was turned away by an unmarked Bingham and seconds later they got another , an identical situation and an identical goal.

Afterwards Queen's were denied what looked to be a stonewall penalty. Clark drove through the Gretna defence and played the ball to Mark Ferry he played the return ball and Clark was tripped by Irons. No penalty said Mike Tumilty who had hardly endeared himself to the 100 or so Spiders Fans who made the trip down the road.

The change at Half-Time was Gav Rushford for Trouten and it was the former Partick youngster who was at fault for the fourth goal only 25 seconds into the second half. He turned his back on Baldachinno who played a ball to Skelton , the winger then battered the ball past Crawford. It was game over.

The game petered out with Queen's managing 0 shots on target.
