Bryan Felvus grabbed his first brace for Queen's as The Spiders cruised past East Stirling and overtook East Fife in 4th place with a comfortable 4-0 win.

After the marvellous cup win against Raith Rovers on Saturday Queen's coach Billy Stark made one change to the side that triumphed 2-0, Tommy Murray replaced by one of the scorers in that game, Bryan Felvus.

Queen's came right out of the blocks and came close near the beginning. Alan Trouten drilled the ball across the face of the goal but no Queen's player could get the touch that would have made it 1-0.

Minutes later though Queen's did take the lead. Bryan Felvus contested with Oates in the six yard box and Felvus managed to get the final touch and get the ball over Derek Jackson. Poor defending but a goal that the on form Felvus would definetely take, even though the BBC quoted it as an own goal from Oates.

Queen's continued to look stronger and twice more they somehow managed to fail to turn in low balls. The next low ball, from Felvus, was clearly handled six yards out by Shire defender Thyiwissen as Ferry steadied himself to shoot. Clear penalty, and Steven Reilly done his usual immaculate job from the spot sending the ball soaring high to the right of Jackson.

There was one change at half time, Quinn replaced Ross Clark, who was carrying a knock.

Queen's were straight out of the blocks again in the second half as Felvus made it 3-0. Paul Paton played a ball over the top and it eluded Shire's no.4, Felvus picked the ball up, beat the defender, and drilled it low from eighteen yards into the near post past a suspect Jackson.

Queen's ended the scoring with twelve minutes remaining, Trouten unleashed Ferry with a brilliant through ball and he battered the ball past Jackson who again looked at fault after falling over trying to save it.

On came Molloy & Murray after that, with Murray & Felvus both passing up great chances to make it 5-0.
