Rangers leave it late
Two late strikes saw Berwick edge past Queen's Park as they ground out a 2-0 win to leapfrog their opponents.
Stuart Noble and substitute Damon Gray secured the win for the home side after they looked set to lament Darren Gribben's missed penalty.
An uninspiring first half burst into life with five minutes to go as Martin McBride curled wide for Queen's Park and Steven Notman scuffed his effort straight at Neil Parry at the other end.
In the second half, Sean Burns tripped Ross Gray in the area to present Berwick with a penalty, but Gribben's effort was comfortably saved by Parry to his right.
With 10 minutes to go, the deadlock was finally broken as Kevin McDonald crossed for Noble to power his header home.
Damon Gray then replaced Noble and promptly ended the contest a minute later, lashing home Darren Lavery's lay-off.
