Arbroath Player Ratings

Last updated : 19 March 2006 By Andyboy
1 - DAVID CRAWFORD
Made some vital stops denying Jackson and Swankie at big points in the game. Also stopped McCulloch's first half spot kick. Man Of The Match. 9

2 - PAUL PATON (Y)
Showed a usual solid show and got forward well making some lung busting runs, starting to become a vital player in the Queen's defence. Booked. 8

3 - MICK DUNLOP
Again, another solid performance from the big defender with good tacking and heading, also some great impromptu rallying calls to the support. 8

4 - STEPHEN REILLY (C)

Improved over Saturday's horror show but gave away a penalty and missed one himself. Still, tackled well and commanding in the air. 6

5 - RICHARD SINCLAIR
Solid at the back with some fantastic saving tackles, won a lot in the air. 7

6 - ROSS CLARK
Ran at the Arbroath defence without too much end product until he played a perfect pass to allow Weatherston to score. 7

7 - STUART KETTLEWELL
On great form lately and tackled well and battled hard, made good runs and passed the ball well. Some great touches as well. 8

8 - TONY QUINN
Hurried in possesion but did look good in the air and tackled well, had a goalbound volley blocked by Raeside in the second half. 7

9 - DAVID WEATHERSTON (off 81)
As usual never stopped running and scored an absolutely wonderful goal. Gave the huge defence of Raeside and Dobbins problems. Hooked on 81 minutes for Felvus. 9

10 - TOMMY MURRAY (off 77)
Hassled the Elgin full backs for the whole game and came close when a wonderful effort was saved by Ingils. Best performance in the jersey. Subbed for Paul Harvey 8

11 - MARK FERRY
Passed the ball and tackled well, looked confident after his wonder strike against Elgin on Saturday. 6
