Media speculation has linked Queen's Park manager Billy Stark with a move across Glasgow to become boss at managerless Partick Thistle. Thistle sacked Dick Campbell in March and have been since on the lookout for a manager.
Billy's young and free flowing Queen's Park side has impressed many in the media this season and many clubs are admirers of Stark's work at Hampden. In the past media speculation linking him to both Queen Of The South and Motherwell has been proved unfounded and Spiders fans will be hoping that the same is of the Thistle link.He has apparently been moved to the top of Thistle's 4 man shortlist according to News reports on both the BBC and STV. Billy however has denied that he has been approached by Thistle supremo Alan Cowan.
The ex Celtic and Aberdeen midfielder told the BBC "I've not heard anything and that would be quite proper because I am under contract at Queen's Park."
Billy has been in charge at Hampden for three seasons since taking over from Kenny Brannigan in August 2004. Though he will no doubt be in high demand this summer after leading QP to promotion to the Second Division.
