Midfielder's Paul Harkins and Ryan Holmes are both reported to have signed following training at Lesser Hampden on Monday night, and join Adam Coakley and David Crawford as the signings so far made by Gardner this summer.

Harkins is a midfielder who last season played his football at Neilston Juniors. He scored many important goals for the Farmer Boys last season and was voted their Player of the Season. It will be hoped that he can recreate his goalscoring form next season.

Ryan Holmes is another midfield player, this time signed from Knightswood Juveniles. He is natrually left sided and will add strength to that weak looking side of the park, for Queen's next season. This has occured with the trip to familar climes in Wattenscheid, looming.

Queen's will as before, play three games in their North Rhine Westphalian base, against local amateur sides SW Eppendorf and VfB Gunnigfeld, followed by the big one versus our hosts Wattenscheid on the Saturday, on the newly laid down Astroturf training park, of SGW09. Twenty Queen's fans will sample the delights of the north German town, on what will no doubt be a great exercise for the Queen's Park squad.
