Paton & Kettlewell Latest To Sign On

Both players, who were named in last season's "SFL Third Division Team Of The Season", have re-signed in the last week despite interest from higher level clubs. Both were expected to end their spell at Hampden and go full time but decided to pledge another year of football to Billy Stark's outfit.

Kettlewell was captain for the second half of last season and the extra responsibility seemed to inspire some stunning performances from the combative midfield man. Ketts missed only one game all season in 2006/07 and will no doubt again be key as Queen's look to defend their place in the Second Division next season.

20 year old full back Paton was also instrumental last campaign, and it was his 35 yard thunderbolt which sent Queen's on their way to the 3-0 win over East Fife in the second leg of the Playoff Final at New Bayview.

From last season's squad only two people have not resigned, David Weatherston who has moved to St Johnstone and record breaking goalkeeper David Crawford, who is still mulling over a number of potential moves.
