Queen's Park boss Gardner Speirs has made his latest re-signing of the close season, securing the services of ex Hearts kid John Neill for another year, and the Queen's fans have some good news on the signing front following the departure of Stuart Kettlewell and Alan Trouten.
20 year old midfield player Neill, was a Scotland youth international and signed for his ex Scotland coach Gardner Speirs back in February of this year. Neill made a positive impact, helping to secure Queen's place in the Second Division for season 2008/09.Following the departures of Stuart Kettlewell and Alan Trouten, he is only the second of last season's midfield players to be retained by boss Speirs, the other being Tony Quinn. Paul Cairney still has not put pen to paper for any side, but looks likely to commit himself to another season at Hampden Park.
