Queen's Park's diminutive attacking midfielder, Tommy Murray, will be out of the club's trip to Germany with ankle ligament damage and a chipped bone in his foot.

Murray, 21, signed last season from Drumchapel Amateurs, will also miss the beginning of the new league season, though it is unknown how long he will be ruled out for.

Boss Billy Stark said "The injury to Tommy is most unfortunate and obviously he will miss the tour and the start of the campaign. That is a blow as he made a decent contribution in his first season with us, but, otherwise, we are looking in good shape for the three game tour of Germany"

Queen's pre season has seen them lose to both Motherwell and St Mirren in the past week, they continue against German amatuers Gunnigfield on Monday evening.
