Four More Re-Sign For Second Division Adventure

Defender's Damiano Agostini and Mick Dunlop have put pen to paper along with midfielder's Alan Trouten and Mark Ferry ahead of Spiders assault on next season's Second Division. Ex-Ayr United centre half Dunlop, had an offer from Angus side Brechin City on the table but the big man decided against leaving Hampden and opted to sign on for another season.

Stalwart Agostini, heading into his sixth Hampden season, has also re-signed after a stunning 2006/07 campaign which saw him land the Supporters Travel Club Player Of The Year award. Mark Ferry was expected to move on but will play on for another season but perhaps the biggest shock is the re-signing of Alan Trouten.

Trouten, 21, was simply stunning in the second half of last season and was attracting interest from newly relegated Airdrie United and fellow Division Two outfit Alloa Athletic.

Commenting on Trouten's decision to re-sign, Stark said "We are pleased to sign Alan on for another year. I think for him it was the right thing to do and that his career will advance nicely with the step up to the Second Division he will make with us."
