Queen's Park fans favourite Ross Clark has left Hampden to Recreation Park, and will play for Alloa Athletic in the 2006/07 season.

23 year old Clark, who has made over 100 first team appearances for Spiders came through the clubs youth system and made the breakthrough at the tail end of the 2002/03 season under Dave Hunter and Paul Martin before becoming a regular under Kenny Brannigan.

Alloa, secured their Second Division status on Sunday beating Berwick Rangers 5-2 on aggregate in the playoff final to remain in Scottish footballs third tier, probably the catalyst for Ross' move to Clackmannshire.

We wish Ross all the best in his career.
