Boss Stark Signs New Deal

According to yesterday's Evening Times, Stark's proposed move to Maryhill was an almost done deal but he signed the new deal this morning which will extend his tenure on the Southside until 2010. Billy, 50, couples his role of head coach of the Queen's first team with a role as a community youth fooball co-ordinator, this was one of the many reasons that Stark knocked back Jags supremo Alan Cowan yesterday.

Billy has been in charge at Hampden since August 2004 and he led his side to promotion to the Second Division on Saturday afternoon at East Fife. He will now have a hard task ahead of him in making sure most of the players sign on for another year at Hampden, despite many key stars attracting interest from higher up the league ladder.

A great piece of news for Queen's, which will hopefully be a springboard to success next season, and beyond.
