Stark tells players to prepare for Derby Day Duel

Queen's Park manager Billy Stark has warned his players that it will be a battle when the Spiders make the short trip to Cliftonhill for tommorow's derby match.

Stark, who was recently been linked with the vacant Queen Of The South job, said "With it being a local derby there are going to be duels all over the park. It is up to us to impose ourselves. They are a team of youngsters who will make it difficult"

Queen's will want to make it four wins in a row over Rovers. Two of them were in March last season at Cliftonhill. On a rearranged Tuesday night game four second half goals crushed Rovers. Mark Ferry, Frankie Carroll (2) and a stunning lob by Paul Harvey secured victory. Three weeks later Queen's returned to Coatbridge and won 2-1, two first half own goals deciding the match even though Rovers scored late on, and, Queen's also won 3-1 against Rovers this season at Hampden. Mark Ferry (2) and Bryan Felvus with the goals.

Queen's are without Paul Harvey & Damiano Agostini, while Stuart Kettlewell faces a late fitness test.
