Spiders Prepare For Playoff Crunch Match

Last updated : 10 March 2006 By Andyboy
Fresh from Tuesday nights morale boosting triumph at Shielfield, Queen's must go into their most important match of the campaign so far with the right mindset.

The Spiders have contested the Highlanders three times this season, Queen's drew 2-2 at Elgin early in the season and then hammered the Black & Whites at Hampden (3-0) Alan Trouten, Mark Ferry and Stephen Reilly got the goals then. The other game at Borough Briggs seen Queen's win 2-1. Two late goals from Tony Quinn overturned the deficit after Elgin were given a dodgy penalty in the first half.

There are no new injury worries from the win against Berwick though Liam McCann and possibly Andy McGinty, could be back in contention for a place.
