Queen's Park vs Berwick Rangers - Preview

Last updated : 27 October 2006 By Andyboy
This game was originally scheduled for Shielfield Park, but due to the moving of September's clash between the teams (due to a Robbie Williams concert) to Berwick means that the sides will clash at the National Stadium instead.

The Spiders, fresh from a comfortable 3-0 success over Elgin last week take on a Berwick side who fought out a fantastic 3-2 success over Arbroath at Shielfield Park and both sides will be high on confidence.

Both sides sit in a position where a run of wins would put them right into the championship and promotion mixer making this a must win for both sides tomorrow. Berwick sit in 2nd place with 20pts while Queen's are only three behind the Borderers in 6th.

In the Shielfield meeting last month, Berwick ran out narrow 1-0 winners, Iain Thomson's deflected goal against the run of play enough to secure victory in the Borders sun.
