Queen's Park vs Albion Rovers

Last updated : 02 March 2007 By Andyboy
As Spiders triumphed 3-0 away at Elgin City, Albion Rovers became the first team since Queen's to lose to East Fife with a 3-0 defeat at Cliftonhill to David Baikie's Fifers.

Rovers, have also been rocked with injury problems and with four first teamers (including key defenders Ciaran Donnelly and Gordon Lennon) out forcing them to call 2 trialists into their squad of 16 for the match tomorrow. Ex Spider Bryan Felvus is set to return after an injury layoff.

We have met with Rovers three times this season already as we start the final quarter of the season. In August we drew 1-1 at Cliftonhill and in November won 2-1 at Hampden Park. A 2-1 New Year's loss at Cliftonhill was our last meeting with the "Dirty Rovers", Queen's losing to a late goal by Patrick Walker.

Queen's injury worries are clearing up with Richard Sinclair and Shaun Molloy available again. Stephen Reilly and Richard Bowers are out due to injury
