Preview - Queen's Park vs Brechin City

Damiano Agostini (shoulder) and Richard Sinclair (back) will both require fitness tests prior to kick off at Hampden. While "Big D" is expected to just about make it, bigger doubts hang over injury jinxed Sinclair, who hobbled out of our 2-1 win at East Fife last week. Good news however, is that Paul Cairney will return following his red card at Raith Rovers, and the subsequent one match suspension. He will be expected to take his place on the field from the start of the match, but this may not be a foregone conclusion, considering the top performances in the Queen's midfield last week.

As we triumphed at New Bayview, City dropped a two goal lead, and two points at home to Peterhead. They led 2-0 to Half Time at Glebe Park, due to Craig Nimmo's double, but goals from Craig Gunn and Martin Bavidge pegged City back in the second half. They will no doubt be looking to get over that disappointing result, at Hampden tomorrow, and with Nimmo leading the line, they will no doubt be a real threat at Hampden.

Also possible tomorrow is a clash against a Queen's favourite over the past few years, in the shape of Steven Canning who moved to Brechin at the start of the season. Canning, spent eight years at Hampden, since breaking through as a youth player in 2000/01, and he will no doubt get a warm welcome from the Hampden faithful tomorrow.
