Montrose vs Queen's Park - Preview

Last updated : 10 November 2006 By Andyboy

Montrose however, have been struggling for points recently with defeats to Dumbarton, Stenhousemuir, Albion Rovers and Arbroath in their previous four matches, they will be determined to stop the rot tomorrow afternoon.

We currently sit in 3rd place, joint on 23 points with 2nd placed Dumbarton while our struggling hosts sit in the depths of 7th, on 16 points. Our record at Links Park is generally quite good - last season Queen's totalled 4 points from our visits to Montrose - and there is no reason why we cannot keep that up tomorrow afternoon.

We have previously met once this season with Montrose, when an extremely defensive side grinded out a 1-1 draw at Hampden in September. Queen's couldn't break down our visitors and they gained the lead through a soft penalty. Mark Ferry's late wonderstrike however secured a point.
