8th December 2007 - Berwick Rangers (a) Player Ratings

Scott Murray - Rookie goalkeeper had little to do throughout. Almost threw in an Ian Thomson effort early in the second half. Had no chance for the goal and made one spectacular stop from David Greenhill. 7

Paul Paton
(y) - Energetic right back linked up well with Alan Trouten and was the basis for most Queen's attacks. Delt with the threat of Kevin Davison well and had a good game, let down by his midfield for the equaliser. Booked. 7

Shaun Molloy
- Powerful left back was constantly used to remove pressure from the Queen's backline when danger was afoot in the penalty area. His running up the left caused many a problem for Berwick and was unlucky to have goal ruled out for offside. Great display 8

Richard Sinclair
- Solid defensive display from the man approaching 200 Queen's appearances. Won most headers throughout the day when under ariel bombardment and kept the Berwick forwards at bay. Caught out at the Wee Gers equaliser. 7

Damiano Agostini
- Didn't put a foot wrong at the back and kept the Berwick forwards in check. Caught for pace on a few occasions and could have done better for the Berwick leveller. Dealt with a vast number of Berwick corners well. 6

Alan Trouten
- One of the creative midfielders less influential displays but still linked up well with the forwards and Paul Paton up the right hand side. Had a few decent efforts at goal. Could be blamed as out of position for the Berwick goal. 6

Stuart Kettlewell
(off 73) - Heart beat of the Queen's midfield. Kept the threats of Greenhill, Thomson and Davison at bay for most of the game. Injured on 73 minutes and suffice to say when this happened Greenhill and Davison linked up for the leveller. Replaced by Paul Ronald 8

Paul Cairney
- Worked hard in the centre of midfield and supported Stuart McGrady well. Not quite his usual top drawer display but hardly put a foot wrong all day. 6

Tony Quinn
(y) - Won lots of headers and physically imposed himself on the Berwick backline. Was key to defending set pieces and put in a good display. Booked. 7

Stuart McGrady
(g) - Great piece of opportunist play to score the opener and his first Queen's goal after an error from O'Connor. Held up play well and brought others into play with good passing. Probably his best display in a Queen's jersey. Almost scored winner near the end. 7

Mark Ferry -
Poor performance from the midfielder who didn't impose himself on play as expected. Let Shaun Molloy down with his link up play up the left wing and didn't have too many Mark Ferry-esque efforts at goal. 5

SUB
Paul Ronald
(on 73) - Beaten for pace at goal after replacing Stuart Kettlewell and didn't add anything to the attacking side of Queen's game. 3
