Queen's Park extended their led over East Fife to eight points with a hard fought and controversial victory over The Fifers at New Bayview.
Fife boss Jim Moffat was raging at the soft penalty given to Queen's in the last minute after Ross Clark went down in the box and penalty specialist Stephen Reilly scored his fourteenth spot kick since he joined Queen's.
Queen's lined up in a 5-3-2 with Ross Clark dropping to the bench to replaced by Richard Sinclair.
Queen's came close early on when Felvus turned the defender and his shot hit off Dodds and rebounded off the bar before falling into the goalkeepers arms.
Reilly was booked soon after a very late tackle on Pelosi of East Fife, Pelosi was also booked for kicking the ball away along with Joe Savage by the officious referee Colin Hardie.
Only one more chance was created in the half when Savage headed wide tamely for the Fifers after a corner kick picked out the former Stenny man.
The second half started at a similiar pace with neither side finding any kind of rythm in their passing. The Fifers had a few half chances but whenever DC was called into action he was equal to their best efforts.
Davie Weatherston made a great run down the right before cutting the ball back to Mark Ferry who slotted the ball straight into the hands of the towering keeper John Dodds.
Mick Dunlop went on a mazy run through the defence, he should have unleashed a shot with his powerful left foot but instead he slid the ball through to Clark who lost possesion to Bain who was solid in the Fifers back line.
Queen's made three changes in a fifteen minute spell with Proctor, Clark & Harvey replacing the trio of Felvus, Weatherston and Molloy.
And soon after Harvey created a great chance for Proctor, the weighted pass was good and "The Doctor" Proctor should have done better when unleashed one on one with Dodds.
Then came the dodgy penalty. Ross Clark went on a mazy run into the box and went down in the box. Reilly then scored with the resulting spot kick which sparked manic celebrations between the players and between the fans.
