Harve steals show as 'Raer sneak goal , Stranraer 1 - 0 Queen's Park

Queen's travelled to Stranraer not expecting too much but 90 minutes later and they were expection a hell-u-va lot more after a phenomanal display from your favourite Glasgow team.

A great Spiders support travelled south hoping for a win rather than expecting anything , with the return of the trombone and an otherwise very noisy support , very nearly witnessed a cup shock.

There were a few changes to the side that failed miserably against East Fife. Paul Harvey replacing Ross Clark with Damiano Agostini fitting into a back three.

Queen's dominated 'Raer from the go. With Paul Harvey forcing McCondichie tip round the post after a powerful 20 yd strike.

It was an exciting midfield battle taking 27 minutes for another clear chance. Mark Ferry rattling the post with McCondichie helpless.

If it was not for a good performance from DC it could have ended worse. The young keeper denying Kev Finlayson & Brian Crawford.

Thier keeper McCondichie was in great form. He somehow managed to keep out wicked strikes from Ferry & Kettlewell

Queen's kept on going at it and with luck could've scored 3 in quick succesion. Frankie Carroll , Ally Graham & Paul Harvey all coming close.

But it was not to be on 86 minutes Steve Swift scored for Stranraer after Davy Graham crossed.

It is the best performance from a Queen's team I have ever witnessed but the only time I wanted to cry and was sickened by the result.

After this real confidence building result we can go to Peterhead with hope of derailling their express train.
