Queen's Park start the season proper tomorrow against Billy Reid's Hamilton Academical at Hampden Park in the Bells Cup 1st Round tomorrow, and Queen's coach Billy Stark believes the 'spiders can benefit from the underdog tag passed onto his squad.

He said "With Hamilton being two divisions above us, the expectation is on them. However, our fans will be looking for a decent performance from us"

"We haven't been able to add to the squad and in, Frankie Carroll and Danny Ferry, have lost two important members our side. I am still looking to add another three or four players"

Stark will be without Stephen Canning (leg), Alan Trouten (appendix) & Andy McGinty will be unavailable.
